DrChrono advisor network certification levels

The new DrChrono Advisor Network program offers participants a wide range of qualifications, including:

DrChrono Review Advisors - certify the participant's opinion on DrChrono as an EHR for their client. The education program provides qualified advisers with unrivaled access to DrChrono's resources and online learning tools. This level is designed to support consultants with a combination of EHR and clinical experience and provide an environment to diagnose different clinical situations.

Implementation Manager Advisors - This is an additional qualification to be completed after the assessor to ensure that consultants understand the product's potential and provide an excellent experience to customers. Implementation manager advisors are added to the list within DrChrono EMR and can be designated as project managers working directly with DrChrono implementation teams.

On-Site Implementation and Training Advisor - This additional certification level allows advisors to implement/change from start to finish and directly support DrChrono customers on-site.

Genomind announced expanding its one-year partnership with DrChrono, allowing Genomind Professional PGx test physicians to prescribe directly through the EHR to support pharmacogenomics in mental health treatment. Physicians can then receive test results - usually within three days - and Genomind counseling services through the same port.

Genomind, based in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, has directly connected to the DrChrono EHR platform since last year. Still, this extension will support the PGx Express Professional test and provide previously unavailable services, including access to the Genomind Drug Interaction Guide, the company said. These services are intended to assist physicians in requesting, receiving, and processing the information.

Also, as part of the new agreement, DrChrono users will be able to gain continuing medical education credit for taking an online Genomind course that teaches physicians about the role of pharmacogenomics and drug prescribing in the treatment of mental health illnesses.

Genomind updated and named its Genecept Assay as PGx Express Professional in August, expanding its mental health genetic testing services to help clinicians overcome the link between patient genetic biomarkers and their impact on mental health care. The company noted that UnitedHealthcare recently issued an advanced coverage decision to use a multidisciplinary panel PGx test, including the Genomind service, in some patients treated for major depressive or anxiety disorder.

According to the Clinical Pharmacogenetics Implementation Consortium, United Healthcare's policy includes a list of specific genes and drugs that have sufficient evidence to be active.
This list, contrary to the position of the U.S.
